What we do with your details

British Luggage Group is the data controller for personal data that reaches us through this website. The registered entity, its company registration number and its address are on the legal notice page.

There are four forms. The one on the range proposal page asks for your name, company, work email, country, and what you are looking for, with one optional box for anything else you want to add. The trade price form asks for two things: your email address and your company, and it notes which product or range you were looking at so that our answer is about that one. The B2B form on the Preview 2027 page asks for your email, and for your company name only if you want to give it. It also records the preview style you select, or the general preview if you do not select a style. The feasibility form on the private label page asks for your work email and your company, and has one optional box for your market or country.

There is no newsletter signup, no account and no search box. You choose whether to send an enquiry. Technical information from visits is described below. Our address is on every page.

What you send arrives as an email. No computer decides anything about you.

We keep what you sent us: your name, email address, company, your country or market, which product you were asking about, and anything you typed in the optional box. That is all — we do not look you up anywhere else and add to it.

The legal basis is legitimate interest. You wrote to a supplier about business and you expect an answer. We use what you sent to reply, to send the prices or documents you asked for, and to carry on that conversation.

We do not sell your details or add you to a marketing list. Service providers process them as described below. Sending a form does not sign you up to anything.

This site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. No advertising trackers, no remarketing pixels, no social media tracking, no embedded players or maps. Sending a form does not set one either.

The typefaces are served from this domain rather than from a font service, so your browser does not contact a separate font provider.

There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to. If that ever changes, we will ask before it changes rather than after.

We count visits using Netlify Analytics. It reads the web server logs — the records the server keeps anyway when it sends you a page. Nothing extra is loaded into your browser and your browser does not contact anyone else.

The statistics are derived from server requests, which can include IP addresses. We use them to understand site usage, not to identify individual visitors or track them across sites. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding and improving this business website.

Our hosting provider records the standard information any web server records when a page is served: the IP address the request came from, the time, the page, and the browser's own description of itself. It is used to keep the site up and to investigate abuse, and retained under the provider's applicable log retention policy.

Our legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in operating a reliable website and preventing abuse. We do not use the logs to identify visitors for marketing.

Netlify, Inc. hosts this website and processes form submissions on our behalf. Your enquiry is stored in Netlify Forms and delivered to our business email. Our email hosting provider and the infrastructure providers used by these services also process data to store and deliver your message.

Netlify is based in the United States. Its Data Processing Agreement provides for the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where applicable, and European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses where that framework does not apply. The agreement and information about its subprocessors are linked below. Contact us for information or a copy of the safeguards relevant to your data.

Your enquiry can remain in both Netlify Forms and our email until it is deleted. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to a newsletter or authorise unrelated promotional emails.

Enquiries are kept for two years from our last exchange, so that a conversation which resumes a season later can be picked up rather than restarted. After that we delete them from Netlify Forms, our email and any enquiry exports we retain. This is a retention policy we carry out, not an automatic expiry provided by the website.

If we go on to work together, the records belonging to that relationship are kept for as long as Swedish accounting law requires.

You can request access to your personal data, correction, deletion or restriction of processing, subject to the conditions in the GDPR. Data portability applies where processing is automated and based on consent or a contract; it does not generally apply to enquiries processed on legitimate interests. You can object to us holding it on the basis of legitimate interest, and we will stop unless there is a compelling reason not to.

Email hello@britishluggage.se. We normally respond within one month and free of charge. If a request is complex or we receive several requests, GDPR permits an extension of up to two further months; we will explain any extension within the first month. We may ask for information needed to verify your identity.

If you think we have handled your data badly you can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, IMY). We would rather you told us first, but that is your right and it is not conditional on speaking to us.

If this policy changes materially we will change the date below. We will not quietly broaden what we do with your data and leave the wording as it was.
